OK, I need some help here. I'm going to give Diana's Kirsten the downey soak. After rinsing, would I be better off to let it dry completely, or should I rebraid with the hair wet, maybe it would hold better?
Also, since I didn't get Kirsten new I've never really seen how the loops are handled. Do I rubberband at the bottom of the braid to hold it, then loop up and somehow rubberband again? What exactly holds the loop in place on new dolls? I know they show the ribbon, but it can't really be just that, can it?
Help? She needs to look a little nicer for our AG trip!

Hi Tracy,
We're going to Chicago on Sunday the 29th, leaving here at 5 am and arriving hopefully before noon, then we're having lunch at the cafe on Monday the 30th too! Driving back on Monday, but still lots and lots of time for looking and shopping! Me, Diana, and my SIL. Care to join us?

Kirstens hair is braided and then the clear elastics are on the ends. Her blue ties are tied onto the ends. Knot them once to ensure they dont slip around on you. Be sure to angle the ties so that the free ends on the outside of the braid away from her arms.
Flip the braid up so that the blunt end is going towards her body and up towards her head. Insert the blunt end between the 2nd and 3rd braid sections close to her scalp. You may have to insert a finger or two to make space first.
The ties should still be hanging loose. Bring them around the fron portion of the braid and tie in a bow.
I cant take credit for these directions. I saw them in someones album, but I cant find it right now.

Nann, thanks so much, that way with the ribbons never even occurred to me! I'm going to have a go at it tonight!
